Purchased a ticket in the SBB Mobile App. Didn't notice that my user was set to purchase tickets.

As the title says, I didn't notice that the app sets by default as a half fare card user, and when I received the ticket, I noticed my mistake.

What can I do now? Can I change that? Cancel the order? Can I get away with it in the train or they will ask for the card?

PS: I'm not Swiss!

Thank you for your query.

With a half-fare card ticket you have to show your half-fare subscription at the control.

Since you do not have a Half-Fare card, you can buy a new ticket without discount and send a refund request to: ticketshop@sbb.ch. We will refund the ticket you bought with a Half-Fare card back to the payment method you used.
