Online SBB Ticket is Okay ?

Hello guys,
We have purchased an online ticket using a mobile device from Spiez to Interlaken. We did not use the app (although in hindsight probably should have) to purchase this ticket. We do not have access to a printer but received a PDF file containing our ticket with a QR code.

Will this be sufficient to show the ticket inspector on our mobile device? We cannot get the ticket to transfer onto the app either. We have tried using the app to scan the QR code but that will not work.

I feel like the PDF file should be enough, however some of the rules are making us second guess whether or not a physical paper copy is required.

Thanks!

Hello @emmyfreed24

You can also show the ticket as a PDF, without printing it. However, the traveler is thus responsible to still have enough phone battery during the trip or in case of emergency to print out the tickets just. If you do not buy a ticket in the app, you cannot integrate it afterwards. Only tickets purchased in the app will be displayed in-app.

You can also get more information from the Contact Center at 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.).

Have a nice day.

Greetings, VlaznimA.
