Hi,
When buying tickets from Montreux to Interlaken Ost, how could I know if I'm buying the Golden Pass Railway?

If you buy a ticket

• From Montreux
• To Interlaken Ost
• Via Zweisimmen

it is the ticket for the Golden Pass. You can also buy it from the ticket office, by doing so you will get the correct ticket.

It is recommended to make a seat reservation for CHF 9.00 per seat. You can make the reservation on the Golden Pass MOB Website: https://journey.mob.ch/en/routing

A ticket is not required to make a seat reservation, the ticket you can still buy before departure.

Is purchasing the ticket necessary if I'm holding the Swiss Travel Pass? Do I have to proceed to the ticket station to get the ticket too?

Hi @Alvinzin 

Yes, you can travel on the GoldenPass with the Swiss Travel Pass, too. You do not need an additional ticket unless you want to ride the new GoldenPass Express.

I personally love the Golden Pass Belle Epoque train.
