The app continues to be checked in even though I wanted to check out. It claims it can't find my location. Stayed checked in even when reinstalled.

In order to report a problem with EasyRide, please proceed as follows:
 
Open SBB Mobile or SBB Preview app and tick the relevant journey in the «EasyRide» box. Then select «Report problem with journey» and fill out the form. Customer Services will check your journey and contact you directly.

I did what you suggested and now everything seems to work.
