What pass is the better option?

Hello, I am traveling to Switzerland by the end of April. Im going to be there five days. I was wondering what is the best pass for my stay, I will be traveling my entire trip in public transport. and I will like to leave my last day from zurich to lausanne via the golden pass belle epoque train to experience the same. The swiss travel pass jumps from 4 days to 6 days, and I fell like buying the 6 days might be a wasted of one day. I will be tavelling with other 4 people and I will like to see what is the best option to buy on tickets or travel pass. Thanks in advance

Hi @hasencio

Thank you for your request.

You can choose between the 4 or 6 day Swiss Travel Pass and the Saver Day Pass.
I recommend that you compare prices.

Information *Saver Day Pass
Information Swiss Travel Pass
Information Golden Pass Belle époque

*Note: The price of the Saver Day Pass may change at any time. The earlier you buy, the better the price! Not exchangeable not refundable.

I wish you a nice day.

Kind regards
NicolasK

Hello @hasencio

In addition to the excellent reply from @NicolasK, I wondered what your itinerary looks like. A Swiss Travel Pass can make sense if you want to do mountain excursions, as they often provide discounts. What is on your bucket list in terms of mountain excursions (cable cars)? For the mainline railways and the Montreux-Oberland railways, a Saver Day Pass is absolutely sufficient.

Best regards,
Roland

Thank you for answering me, I will be travelinr from surich to Mt. pilatus, and the surrounding areas one day, the other I will be going to joungfrauch, and later I will be going to bern, and the areas, the main places that are not mountain will be, Bern, Interlaken, Lauternbrunnen, Rhine falls, and at the end of the stay I will be travelling from Zurich to Montreux, taking the Golden pas belle epoque on my way there, to arrive at lausanne after Montreux to take a train to Paris.

Hello, Thank you for answering me, based on the 6 days swiss travel pass, it will cost me around 360 and the day saver pass will be in total around 260, however, I have some of the museum, and half price on some of the mountains included, and it also include the golden pass belle epoque. I believe paying for 6 days even If Im going to be 5 will be worth it. Thank you for sharing the links and information.
