Use of Swiss travel pass outside Switzerland

Hi, I’m a tourist and I’m going to Switzerland on October 28th. It’s possible to take a train from Milano to luzern, by train, and use the Swiss travel pass?

The Swiss Tavel Pass is not valid for the entire route from Milan to Lucerne. The Travelpass only covers Switzerland. See the map of validity in the downloads.
If you travel with the EuroCity, make sure you don't forget the obligatory seat reservation.
