Unable to save a payment method

I live in the USA and will be traveling to Switzerland this summer.  I created a SwissPass/SBB account but am unable to save a payment method.  I tried using a MasterCard and a debit card.  Any suggestions on how to save a payment method or why I'm being block would be very helpful.  Thanks.

You can change the means of payment at Please log in with your SwissPass user account and go to «Means of payment». To do this, first delete the saved means of payment. Then enter the new payment method details and click on «Save payment method».
You can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Postfinance Card, Diners Club, Reka Card and Twint as means of payment.
