[Travel advice] Chiasso to Milan line closed from 29 April to 01 May 2023

Dear Italy travelers,

Due to construction works in Monza (Italy), the Chiasso - Milan line will be closed between Seregno and Sesto S.G. from 29 April to 01 May 2023.

Eurocity trains from Zurich HB or Basel SBB to Chiasso - Milan: All Eurocity trains are cancelled between Chiasso and Milan. Replacement buses by Trenitalia will operate from Chiasso - Milan Central station - Chiasso (without intermediate stops).

Exceptions:

• EC325 on 28 April (Zurich 19.33 - Lugano 21.32 - Milan 22.50)
• EC312 on 02 May (Milan 07.10 - Lugano 08.30 - Zurich 10.27)

→ Chiasso - Milan - Chiasso are cancelled without replacement

Kindly note, the Brig - Milan line is not affected.

According to SBB, the online timetable (www.sbb.ch/en) has been adapted.
