Train strike in Milan

Hi, I recently bought a train ticket from Milano Centrale to Lugano.  However, the trip was canceled without prior notice due to a train strike in Milan.  Does this qualify me for a refund?

Hi @qilazati

Thank you for your request.

If the ticket could not be used due to a strike, it is likely to be refunded. If you bought this ticket at the SBB station, you have to ask for a refund at the station. If this ticket was purchased online (sbb.ch), you can call us on +41 848 44 66 88. If this does not work, you can use the number +41 51 225 78 00.

If the ticket was not purchased at the SBB, please contact the corresponding department.

I wish you a nice day.

Best regards
NicolasK
