Train connection from Geneva airport to lauterbrunnen

I am travelling from charmonix to Geneva arrive in Geneva airport at 1130 via shuttle transfer.

my next destination is lauterbrunnen. I am going to buy a Swiss pass.

I could get the train at 1149 or 1232 via bern,speiz,interlacken arriving lauterbrunnen at 1525 or 1555.

some trains on these route are IC trains and they advise seat reservations.

but I was hoping to get on the golden pass train from montreux to zweisshmman

hence my journey will be

1201 geneva airport to montreux arr 1330

1350 montreux to zweisshmman arr 1557

or 

1450 montreux to zweisshmman arr 1657

next leg will be

1702 zweisshmman to lauterbrunnen arr 1855 with 2 train changes

or 

1739 zweisshmman to lauterbrunnen arr 1925.

I do not want to book seat reservations on golden pass in case I can’t get the connections. What are the chances on getting on the golden pass without seat reservations.

and most importantly is the hassle and changing trains just to get the golden pass worth it?

we also have a big suitcase each.
