Ticket allowing a stopover

Hello, i will be traveling from geneva to zurich airport and would like to stopover in Bern for lunch. Is it possible to get a ticket with a stopover or should i buy 2 x separate tickets? Assuming if the former is possible, it may be cheaper? Thank you!

Hi @Sabrina2026

Thank you for your question.

If you buy a regular point to point ticket, it is valid the whole day on the selected journey, this means you can go to lunch in Bern and resume your journey later.

This is not possible with a saver or super saver ticket, because they are only valid on the specific connection that you choose. In this case you would have to buy two separate saver tickets: one from Geneva to Bern in the morning and one from Bern to Zürich Airport in the afternoon.

I wish you a nice day.
