During a train ride over the Christmas holiday my backpack was stolen from the train. My wife and I are going through the process of submitting an insurance claim for the stolen property with our credit card company. We submitted a lost property report and paid to have the train searched as soon as we found out about the loss. The insurance company needs a "A copy of the Settlement Response outlining or declining payment from the Common Carrier." Is there a way to submit a loss claim to SBB or terms/conditions saying you dont reimburse for lost items? Need something official to file. Thanks for your help!
