Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
HI
I have bought a saver day pass. It's valid from Jan 14 00:00 to Jan 15 5:00, There is a remark saying "The Saver Day Pass is valid for travel on GA Travelcard area routes in the relevant class."
1) What GA area means? Can I use the pass for train from Geneva airport to Zermatt via Visp?
2) If I want to take a specific train depart from Geneva airport at 13:19, do I need to make a seat reservation? Or I just get on any train?
3) If I miss the connection at Visp, I can take the next one?
Thanks?
Eva
Hello @punpun123
1) It means the area of validity which is the same as the Generalabonnement (GA), a travel card for residents. You can find the map here indicating on which lines your Saver Day Pass is valid: https://www.sbb.ch/content/dam/internet/sbb/de/abos-billette/abonnemente/karte-geltungsbereich-ga-ha...
2) No, you just hop on the next connection
3) You simply take the next one.

thanks, by looking at the map, just make sure I understand correctly. The saver day pass can cover the train from Geneva Airport to Visp, then connect to Zermatt by train as well? am I correct?
Thanks
Yes.
