Question regarding an online SBB ticket.

Hello, we have purchased an online ticket using a mobile device from Spiez to Interlaken. We did not use the app (although in hindsight probably should have) to purchase this ticket. We do not have access to a printer but received a PDF file containing our ticket with a QR code. Will this be sufficient to show the ticket inspector on our mobile device? We cannot get the ticket to transfer onto the app either. We have tried using the app to scan the QR code but that will not work.

I feel like the PDF file should be enough, however some of the rules are making us second guess whether or not a physical paper copy is required. Thanks!

Hi @carpetmilk9

How did you purchase your ticket?

  • Order without login: If you have placed an order without logging-in, please show the QR code in the confirmation e-mail to the ticket inspector.
  • Order with login (recommended): If the order was placed by logging-in, please log on to the SBB Mobile app with the same account. You can display the ticket under the tile "trips and tickets"
