Purchase fly luggage in Australia

I am flying from Australia to Zurich next year via Singapore with Singapore Airlines. How do I purchase the fly luggage so that I may have it transferred directly from Zurich airport to my hotel in Lucerne for example? Do I need to purchase it when I buy my airfare in Australia? Or do I need to ask them when I check my bag in at the airport in Australia?
