Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
I would like to stay at a P+ Rail parking for longer than 7 days. How can I do that?
Hello @victoria123
You can purchase a 7 days ticket through the SBB P+Rail app (if the location is available in the app) and re-purchase it after 7 days again on the app.
It seems like you don't have any other option regarding the busses on the way back, but I agree with @RolandP regarding the high costs. Maybe a taxi for the way back home is cheaper than booking for more than 7 days or maybe someone you know could pick you up at the train station with a car.
Anyways, I wish you a nice trip and a lovely day.
Kind regards, VlaznimA.
Hello @victoria123
The total number of days possible is 7 days. You have to find an alternative parking. Without the information on where you intend to park the car, it is difficult for us to offer help.
I, however, wondered why you have to park the car for so many days? I am not sure if you are aware that parking a car in Switzerland is a costly undertake; expect parking fees of about CHF 30 per day, if not more.
My personal advice therefore, whenever possible, try to avoid using the car. Again, we might be able to help you find another mean of transport would we know what your plans are.
Best regards,
Roland
Hi Roland,
I will be going on holiday and I come back on the weekend when there are no busses available for my final stretch from the station to my home.
