Luggage Transfer

Hello, I'm flying into Zurich Airport then by train to Le Chable where I'll join a 7-day Alp trek to Zermatt.  I would like to send my suitcase to Zermatt for collection after my trek.  As I'm only travelling part of the way to Zematt by train (to Le Chable), can I use the SBB luggage transfer service to Zermatt?  After Zermatt I'm travelling onwards within Switzerland.

Thank you for your query.

Unfortunately this is not possible because you need a ticket for the train from the start station to the final destination so that your luggage can be shipped to the right place.
