Is there an option for travelers to have luggage directly transferred from arrival at Zurich Airport

Can travelers arriving to Zurich Airport have their luggage directly transported to a hotel or train station closer to the final destination after flying in? I can see in the past this service was available but now the only options given are for outbound travelers.

Hello @MayScotland

This service used to be provided until a few years ago. Today, this service is exclusively offered to Swiss Int. Airlines and Edelweiss passengers when returning to Switzerland from a trip.

As a consequence, you will have to pick-up your luggage from the baggage claim carousel, take it through customs, and drop it at the SBB Travel Center - not a big deal and easy. It is then a so called station to station transfer.
