International delay

Stephine

We took the tgv from paris to zurich and finally arrived in Zurich with a 5hours delay. I claimed for a refund and received ch10. This is embarrassing considering that our train stopped at Mulhouse for 4 hours without having received neither a water nor a snack. Only were we informed that the train should leave within the next hour again and again until we finally moved on at 23.30.

in zurich at 01.20am taxis and ubers were overbooked that i had to walk home with all my luggage.

is there an email address available for complaints or which channel do you recommend? I am not ready to pay anything for a call center after having received 10chf in such case.

many thanks for your advice!

Hello @Stephine

I am sorry to hear that your TGV travel was impacted by a huge delay.
Have you booked/bought your tickets with SBB or with SNCF? You must send your complaint to the respective rail company from where you bought the tickets.

To understand your passenger right in case of delays on international routes, please carefully read this website:

https://www.sbb.ch/en/help-and-contact/refunds-compensation/compensation-for-delays.html

To claim a compensation with SBB, provided you booked your TGV ticket with SBB, please use the form below:

Best regards,
Roland
