Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
Hi everyone!
I am writing here to get more hints and suggestions about a forgotten/lost gray-silver backpack with MacBook Pro and personal belongings on an SBB train, yesterday 4th of March, 23, circa 11AM.
I have already reported the lost item on lostandfound.sbb.ch, but just wanted to get more suggestions here, because of two reasons:
1 - this train was crossing the border into France (Annemasse, which was the final destination),
2 - I am not 100% sure it was this train, or the connecting ones I took before that one (details bellow)
My trip was from Verbier (i.e. Martigny) to Geneva, with a few connecting trains:
1 - Le Chable -> Martigny (R 26113)
2 - Martigny -> Vevey (IR 90 1812)
3 - Vevey -> Geneva (RE 18414)
I am 90% sure that I forgot the backpack on the train from Vevey to Geneva (RE 18414), and that's where I reported the lost backpack.
First question: should I make the same report for other 2 connecting trains as well?
Are there any other suggestions anybody can give, please?
I reside in Berlin, Germany.
Thanks all!!
Hello @stubin87
That's very unfortunate.
You should make two loss property reports, one with SBB and one with SNCF, https://www.garesetconnexions.sncf/fr/service-client/a-vos-cotes/objet-perdu-trouve/declaration-pert...
That's all you can do! You should make the loss property report for the train concerned only.
Best regards,
Roland
