Do you get at-seat service for dishes and beverages in 1st Class if there is no Bistro/Restaurant?

Hello,

Pardon my misunderstanding but if I am seated in 1st Class on an IR15 route, Genève-Aéroport - Luzern, do you have an option for dishes and beverages? It is listed under 1st class but I don't believe this service has a Bistro or Restaurant on board. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Perfect, thanks @VlaznimA that seems logical enough.

Just wanted to check on here after I saw the line on the SBB site about at-seat service for dishes and beverages.

Hello @AJPhelan

Restaurant or bistro cars are only available on IC, EC, TGV and ICE trains. If one of them is available, you will see that in the legend of the respective connection in the online timetable.

Kind regards,
FatimaH

Thanks @FatimaH it appears none of these services are available on my connection. Are there any snacks or anything available to purchase/complimentary from the seat in first class?

Hello @AJPhelan

If there is no Bistro or Restaurant listed, it's not available. Usually it's only possible to eat in the Restaurant car or buy something in the Bistro car and eat/drink at your seat. Otherwise it's only/also possible to buy something somewhere in a store and eat/drink in the train.

Thank you for your understanding and have a nice day.

Kind Regards, VlaznimA.
