Consultation on international transfer at Zurich Station

SOLVED

I booked a ticket from St. Gallen to Zurich HB on November 9, and then from Zurich to Paris. I will arrive at platform 32 in Zurich HB at 9:21 a.m., and then depart from platform 16 in Zurich HB to Paris at 9:34 a.m. This is the first time for me to take an international train in Zurich. I would like to ask if the international train requires additional baggage or certificate inspection and if there is any problem with my time arrangement?

Hi @Altan8143

Changing trains in Switzerland is not a challenge. Once arrived at Zürich HB, platform 32 you simply follow the signs to platforms 3-18. Although doable, the transfer time is rather tight. If your ticket allows it, take an earlier train to have at least 30 minutes to change in Zürich; it would mean a pity if you miss the TGV just because IC1 was unexpectedly late.

There is no custom and passport procedure before boarding the train; all will happen on the train.

Wishing you good travel.

Best regards,
Roland
