I want to make a claim for extra accommodation required on a trip due to a train cancellation on an international journey. I have tried to use the claim form but it has no inout area where I can explain the problem. The only data relates to my addrees, the train tickets and the date and time.
How and where can I describe my claim ?

@FatimaH has provided the right answer.
If I were you, I had chosen a pragmatic approach and uploaded a letter as PDF stating the problem all together with a scan of your ticket. The compensation request form (Compensation application for delays on international journeys | SBB help & contact) allows multiple attachments. A PDF of your text document containing the letter can easily be created if you save it as PDF.
