SBB has put together the content for this area on SBB.ch using the large amount of questions and feedback we receive from passengers. The aim is for people to be able to find answers to their questions very easily and without having to wait – at any time, and in any place.

This is what the home page looks like:

Hilfe-_und_Kontaktbereich_EN.PNG

If you have a problem or a question, you’ll find step-by-step instructions and answers to the most frequently asked questions about SBB products and services in one central location. If the instructions don’t help you either, you’ll find contact options for the topic in question at the end of each page, e.g. a telephone number, contact form or chat tool.

What’s more, right at the bottom of each FAQ page, you can let SBB know whether the information was useful or not.

I recently purchased 4 1st class tickets from Zermatt to Zurich. I do not recall seeing an option to make seat reservations. I would like to make seat reservations so the 4 of us will sit together, How do I do this for tickets I already purchased?

Hi @JP9123

You can find all information about seat reservations here. You can reserve your seats on Swiss trains at SBB.ch, SBB Mobile, via SBB Contact Center 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.) or direct at the ticket counter. It costs CHF 5 per seat to make a reservation.

Hi @Primasari0307

If you are planning a longer stay in Switzerland and during this time you like to make excursions through the whole country, then we recommend the Swiss Half Fare Card. The Swiss Half Fare Card is valid for one month and is available at almost every Swiss railway station as well as all points-of-sale worldwide. The Swiss Half Fare Card is available as e-ticket and the price is CHF 120. Here you can find more information about it.

I have problems with my alphanumerical postcode in "SW3 ..." London. It is correct in my profile, but I cannot enter it in the App where it asks for customer number AND postcode.

The app rejects the postcode that is stored in my profile.

Hi

I'm travelling from zurich airport to laax in december. I understand I need a swisspass to be able to buy the rail n snow ticket.

When I go to setup swisspass there a few options such as half fare, point to point, other, etc.

Which do I need to setup swisspass for rail n snow? Do I even need a swisspass?

@TobiasZ  Please help. I bought tickets online via the ticket shop. The purchase went through on my credit card but NO EMAIL has come through with the tickets. My train is TOMORROW. I have tried calling +41 848 44 66 88 (dialling from outside Switzerland) and it keeps saying the number is invalid.

I have emailed ticketshop@ - NO reply

I called the Handicap line in desperation - they are kind but cannot help.

How can I get my tickets? Must I pay AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and hope one set comes through?

Its very urgent and I am now super desperate so please forgive me coming direct on this forum. If your contact centre number worked........i wouldn't have!

Hello!

Please advise me. I will start my trip from 01/07/2022 and purchase my Saver Day Pass on 01/05/2022. I hope to purchase my Half Fare Travel Card before purchasing my Saver Day Pass. How should I define the validation date of the Half Fare Travel Card? 01/05 or 01/07?

Can you purchase a Children's Co-Travel pass in advance from the US before a June 2022 arrival when wanting to use it?  I want to book some super saver fares on direct routes 60-days prior coming up and was wondering if I needed the pass active to get the discounts when traveling with a child under age 16?  Also when we arrive in Zurich I can if need be get his pass at train station just wondering how long that process is before we board our super saver tickets from Zurich to Lucerne.

I am not located in Switzerland and I have been trying to to contact the help number +41 848 44 66 88 but it is not going through. I need to make night train reservations from Zurich to Prague over the phone but do not know who else to contact. It keeps saying the number is not valid. It appears that someone else in the comments section had the exact same problem but no solution. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @traveler22 ! I found “if this number doesn't work, on +41 51 225 78 00” as an alternative number in the site. Why not try?

I bought a Saber Day pass. However, due to a payment error, it did not go to the confirmation stage. However, a total of two payments were made. However, there is no record of purchasing pass tickets in the mail, application, or web.

In order to refund the payment, it has to be posted on the order date, but it doesn't show up, so I can't try to get a refund. The payment history clearly exists. What happened? Tell me how to solve it

I will refund only one from the duplicate payment and keep the rest. Also, please make sure that the details of the confirmed mail and application are displayed

I paid twice in total, but I don't even have an order number because I didn't move on to the next step due to a payment error on the screen. thank you
