SBB’s digital assistant – artificial intelligence to help you arrive at the answer faster than ever.

At, a digital assistant has already begun providing a quick and easy way to get answers to your questions about the GA Travelcard and Half Fare Travelcard, by means of chat conversations which are powered by artificial intelligence.

Digitalisation and new technologies mean that customer needs are changing. So, in order to continue to meet your expectations, SBB is also working on developing its information channels. As a new channel of communication, the SBB digital assistant makes it possible to communicate with SBB and get answers to questions about the Half Fare Travelcard and GA Travelcard at any time of day.

The SBB digital assistant is still being developed and is constantly learning more: further languages and subject areas are to follow and answer quality will be optimised. In this initial phase, the idea is to make it easier for you to access information. The SBB digital assistant is designed to provide you with a new and valuable communication channel for you and your enquiries.


From 1 to 3 November 2020, the focus will this year once again be on the digitalisation of our lives. And SBB will be demonstrating its digital innovations of today and tomorrow. More information
