Swiss Travel Pass for connection out of Switzerland

If I am traveling from or to a destination outside Switzerland will I receive a discount for the Switzerland portion of the travel (Ex. Frankfurt to Luzern) or do I need to purchase two separate tickets to get the discount on the Switzerland portion of the trip.  I will be purchasing all tickets thought the SBB.ch site.

Hello @WF2 

When you book an international trip on the sbb website, you will be asked for discount cards of all the coountries you travel in and the ticket price will be calculated acording to that information.
