Hello! We are a group of 3 friends under the age of 25 who is planning to travel in Switzerland at 4th of July. I am wondering if there is a quota for the ''Friends Day Pass for Youth''. So, do we have to buy it individually or one ticket is enough for 3 of us?

Hello @tolgaturkmen16

You can find all the information on the Friends Day Pass for Youth here: Friends Day Pass for Youth | SBB

You need one ticket for all. Upon purchase, all persons in your group must be declared, hence must be registered with surname / name and date. The ticket cost is CHF 80, no matter if you use the ticket alone or as a party of 2, 3, 4 people.

Does that answer your question? Do not hesitate to contact us if you have more queries.

Best regards,
Roland

Thank you so much for your answer, I get that. Also, I have one more question. My friends and I are planning to land on different cities in Switzerland and meet in one city and go on with our route together. Is it possible to use Friends Day Pass for Youth on different trains by different persons (declared persons in our group of course) in the same day? Or should we only use it on the same train together? One more question, are we receiving one QR code that we can show from our phone in the train or do we have to print it?

Hello @tolgaturkmen16

The ticket is in the name of one person. The offer is available as an e-ticket. If you have a swisspass login, you can redeem this with the login and then show the ticket in the SBB Mobile App.
When you buy the ticket, it is valid for you. However, the others have to buy an additional ticket and only benefit from the day pass if you all travel together. See the information on the homepage.

Have a nice day. Greetings ZoeS

Hi, we want to benefit from Friends Day Pass for Youth for our 3 person group. But, it wants 80 CHF for every person. Shouldn't we pay 80 CHF total for our group? If we need to buy an additional ticket, what type of ticket is that? Can you send a link for it? Thanks a lot 🙂A842DF68-2431-4C75-AFEF-78E470EA0778.png
